Kia ora Whānau

Welcome to our special mid week edition of the Whānau news. I hope you have all had a great long weekend with friends and family. As we click into the second half of the term and slide into winter I would like to remind all staff, students and whānau about the importance of keeping healthy and well.  If at any stage you are unwell or not at your best we ask that you please stay at home, get the rest you need and help keep others free from any winter coughs and colds.

I look forward to catching up with students and whānau after my recent trip to Auckland (to attend the Trans Tasman Principals Conference) and I must say how nice it is to be back!  I have shared many CPS stories with many colleagues over the past week and I was very proud in doing so.  We have something very special at Cashmere Primary School and once again I thank all staff, students and Whānau for making it so.

Enjoy the rest of your week everyone.

Ngā mihi nui

Gavin Burn, Principal
