Bring Your Own Device at CPS – Year 4-8

From 2014 Cashmere is optional “Bring Your Own Device” (BYOD) school for students in Year 4-8. This means that families can decide if they would like their child to bring a device from home to support their learning. If your child does not bring their own device there will be school owned devices available for your child to use.

If you decide that you would like your child to take part in BYOD then you need to ensure that their device has access to the internet, their device will also need to be able to:

Access web based email ( we suggest a family Gmail account for year 4-8) Have a word processing programme Have the ability to take photos and record video Have access to Drop box and Ultranet
